Day 1 : Drive from Shimla to Bawta | Bus Ride
The trek on Rupin Pass will officially start from Bawta. Reach the starting point via your transportation or book ours where our Representative will pick you up from the Shimla Bus stand.
On your way to Bawta, you will be blessed with the spectacular frames of nature and the snow-hugging majestic mountains. Get your shutters ready to capture each moment.
The path to Rupin Trek Pass will come on crossing a small town Rohru, settled on the banks of the Pabbar River and is also the last ATM point.
Day 2 : Trek from Bawta to Jakha Village
After a long wait, finally, the day of trek climbing will start on Day 2. You will trek past the highest and last village.
The trek trail is not an easy-going path. Up and down and the zigzag trails will wait for you to climb over it.
So, brace yourself for a long trek on mixed trails. Selwan Khad is the last water point, fill up your bottles or wait till you reach some tea shops ahead.
After completing today's trek you will brush off all the tiredness with a relaxing nighttime at your homestay.
Day 3 : Trek from Jakha to Dhanderash Thatch
The warm morning will greet you with a pristine view of Jakha village. The trek will continue through the village of Jakha.
You will cross a forest beaming with pride with its strong fir trees. Passing through the bridge and walking along the streams you will enter another forest of Rhododendron trees.
After a long walk on the trails, take a break at Saruwas Thatch. Capture the splendid beauty of nature and catch a glimpse of Rupin Waterfall.
Continue your walk on the thick layers of snow holding hands with birch trees all along. Witness the hypnotic view of waterfalls rolling down the valley.
Now, you will proceed to move down into the valley to catch another mesmeric view of lush greenery.
You will finally reach Dhanderash Thatch in the middle of the valley. Don't forget to admire the unforgettable view of the Himalayan Range.
Day 4 : Trek from Dhanderash Thatch to Upper Waterfall
The trek to the Upper Waterfall camp will be at an altitude of 4000 meters. So, before you get all excited with your gear, attend the training session.
During the session, Our Team will guide you through the ways of trekking on snow trails to ensure that you cover the upcoming journey with ease.
After a walk through snow trails, on the rocks, and again through a thick coating of snow, you will take a short yet sharp climb to reach the campsite.
Once you are settled in the campsite, let your body cool off all the climbing you did and soothe yourself with an alluring view of the surroundings.
Day 5 : Trek from Upper Waterfall to Ronti Gad | Crossing Rupin Pass
Day 5 will be the longest day of your trek as you will climb up to the Pass and descend back on the same day.
Taking a steep climb while taking a beautiful view of thick sheets of snow in Rati Pheri campsite, you will walk towards Rupin Pass Gully.
You will stop at Rupin Pass to fill up your energy levels with some refreshments for the next thrilling trek.
The trek to Rupin Pass always has a risk of falling stones so take utmost care while covering the trek trails.
After a thrilling climb, you will get an adrenaline rush sliding down the snow towards Rukti Gad.
Move forward with gentle walks, and encounter a steep descent before you reach the campsite. Bless your soul with the alluring beauty of surroundings wrapped up in silver snow.
Day 6 : Relaxation Day
After days of trekking on thick layers of snow, it becomes important to give a rest to your body and mind. On day 6, you will give a complete rest, wash off all the work and tiredness you carried for the past days and boost up your energy level for the next day. The day of resting is usually done in Dandreyash Thatch Camp, however, it can be done in any given camp considering the conditions.
Day 7 : Trek from Ronti Gad to Sangla
On the last day of the trek, you will take a descending climb. Descending can be a bit difficult because of the sharp slope.
The team members will make sure that you're comfortably adjusted to move downwards without any injuries.
The descending trail will continue to the point of Sangla. From there on you will take a ride to Shimla.
You will reach Shimla around 1 AM, so make sure you already have arrangements for your stay.
